The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning – Mrs Zainab Ahmed disclosed at a press conference on fiscal stimulus measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and oil prices fiscal shock in Abuja on Monday, that the Federal Government would engage no fewer than 774,000 Nigerians as Special Public Works Programme officials as part of its measure to cushion the effects of COVID-19 pandemic.

Under the programme, each of the 774 Local Government Areas in the country is expected to provide 1,000 persons
